The Hermès Chypre Sandals have quickly become one of the most coveted pieces for luxury fashion lovers this year. Some even say they’re harder to score than a Birkin or Kelly. While I can see why, I was able to snag a pair in my size—and had a friend scoop up another—just by checking the Hermès website at the right time. For me, the sweet spot tends to be between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, with 2:30 PM often being the golden hour.
As the ultimate “it sandal” for the transition from summer to fall, I’m sharing my honest thoughts on the in-demand Hermès Chypre Sandals.
My Honest Review
From the moment I unboxed the Chypre sandals, I was instantly impressed by their impeccable craftsmanship and how incredibly comfortable they felt on my feet. They strike the perfect balance between style and practicality—ideal for wearing through spring, summer, and even into fall (paired with socks, if you’re feeling bold). Despite their chunky look, they’re surprisingly lightweight, which only adds to their everyday wearability.
Sizing
Hermès recommends purchasing the Chypre sandals in a half to a full size larger than your regular size. The furless sandals tend to run smaller, while those with fur usually fit just right. Nonetheless, I ordered both sandals in my regular size 35, and although slightly snug, the fit was ideal for me.
If you’re ordering your Chypre sandals online, I suggest acquiring two sizes: your regular size and a half size larger, to determine the best fit.
Cost
The cost of these most-wanted sandals for women without fur is $1,000 US dollars without tax.
My Thoughts
Overall, I love these sandals, and I’m so happy I could snag a few pairs. They’re not only beautiful but also functional and well worth the investment in terms of cost and the time spent to find and purchase them.
