My Honest Review
Unboxing the Hermès Avalon Blanket was a lovely experience for me. The pictures on the Hermès website do not do this luxury item any justice! I was surprised at the impeccable quality of the blanket and the beautiful brown color it came in.
The composition of the blanket is a mixture of 90% wool and 10% cashmere. And it comes in the following available colors: black, brown, orange, gray, blue, and light beige. Additionally, the blanket measures 53.1″ long x 66.9″ high. This blanket is perfect for draping over your couch or accent chair to add a pop of color, pattern, or texture to your space. I loved the other available colors for the blanket. However, I chose brown because it closely matched my home decor for any season.
How much does the Hermès Avalon Blanket cost?
Owning this beautiful blanket comes at a hefty price. The cost is $1,875 US dollars (pre-tax). However, the price is worth it if you plan to use this blanket as a staple decor item or for multiple seasons throughout the year. I’ve also researched buyers’ feelings after purchasing the Hermès Avalon Blanket, and the sentiment is the same. They don’t regret the purchase, and the blanket seems to withhold the test of time, maintaining its amazing quality.
One last thing to consider regarding the price is that luxury brands tend to raise the prices of their items over time. This blanket was half the price it was now ten years ago. Furthermore, resellers sell this blanket at a premium over the retail price. So, if you’ve been deciding to make the purchase, now is the time to do so.
