The Chanel Coco Handle has been on my wishlist for a while now. I’ve always been drawn to its elegance and how much it reminds me of the Chanel Classic Flap. So when my Chanel SA told me about a light pink Coco Handle from the 22P collection, I was beyond excited.
This bag isn’t just beautiful. It really feels like me. I’m so happy to finally add it to my collection. Keep reading for my honest thoughts and review.
My honest review
Named after Chanel’s founder, the Coco Handle Bag was first introduced in 2017. Since then, the Coco Handle has gained immense popularity and is now offered each season. Critics have compared the Coco Handle Bag to the Hermès Kelly.
The bag includes:
- A single top handle.
- A front flap similar to the Chanel Classic Flap Bag.
- A trapezoid top paired with the interlocking CC closure.
- Removable shoulder strap.
I love this bag because it has some elements of the Chanel Classic Flap, but it has its own unique design elements: the trapezoid shape and top handle. Depending on your outfit or mood, you can carry the Coco Handle by hand, cross-body, or on your shoulder. This is a differentiator from most Chanel bags, as you have more than one option to wear it.
